Young Adult Ministries

Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.”

St. Michael’s is dedicated to fostering meaningful community for young adults to gather, explore faith, deepen their spirituality, build relationships, have fun, and do life together. Whether it’s moving to a new place, getting married, getting laid off, having kids, starting college, graduating college, or one of the countless other transitions young adults experience, we believe that in community we are able to navigate these transitions in more fruitful and life-giving ways. Just as we hear in Matthew 18:20, we trust that Christ is ever present in our young adult ministries, no matter what form they are taking.

Are you somewhere between 18-39? Please reach out to Owen to see how you might be able to get connected!

Gather: Pikes Peak

St. Michael’s is proud to partner with “Gather: Pikes Peak.” Join young adults from the pikes peak region in fellowship, worship, community, and discussion. Gather meets to spend time asking challenging questions of ourselves, our faith, and our world. All young adults from across race, faith background, gender, sexuality, and perspective are welcome here to meet, to be, to gather.
Gather meets at First Lutheran Church (1515 N Cascade Ave) from 7:00 - 8:30 PM on the fourth Tuesday of the month.
Check out the instagram for upcoming dates and events, as we are often off site doing something fun!

Theology on Tap

Come hang out with us at Goat Patch Brewing (2727 N Cascade Ave) on the second Friday of each month from 6:30 - 8:00 PM! Each gathering we engage in learning and discussion around a different theological topic which is hosted by rotating faith leaders in our city. And we do this while enjoying a cold beverage from Goat Patch! Theology on Tap is offered in partnership with Gather: Pikes Peak and is open to all young adults in Colorado Springs.

Finals Care Packages for College Students

Some of the young adults we minister to are not local to Colorado Springs! Whether you grew up at St. Michael’s, or are new to the community, or even if you are a parent/grandparent who found themself on the Young Adults page, we would love to send your college student a finals care package to remind them that even when they are off at school, they are loved by us, and they can always have a home at St. Michael’s. Our Middle & High School Youth Groups pack and send finals care packages twice a year, please email Owen to have your mailing address added to our list!

Seasonal Offerings & Trying New Things

Our young adult ministry is constantly changing, just like the lives of the young adults to whom we minister. We often are trying new things like our Young Parent Gatherings and our “Being With” Lenten Young Adult Class.
