Children’s Ministries

Matthew 19:14 “But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”

At St. Michael’s we are dedicated to offering Jesus-centered programming, events, and experiences for our children. St. Michael’s provides nursery care, Sunday School programming, and family events to nurture our children and share Christ’s love with them.

Nursery

St. Michael’s provides a large, clean, well-maintained facility for our youngest children. The staff is paid and all employees are required to attend the Safeguarding God’s Children course. It is open on Sunday morning from 7:45 until Noon, as well as other times during the week to support other programs and activities.

Children’s Chapel

St. Michael’s offers a children’s worship experience during our 10:30 Sunday service. An announcement for Children’s Chapel is made by the clergy just before the start of the readings and the children return to their families during the peace.

Sunday School - Pre-School and Elementary

Our elementary Sunday School classes meet on Sunday mornings during the school year from 9:15 - 10:10 in between our morning worship services. We gather to learn about who Jesus is and what that means for our lives! And our course… we play games and do some arts & crafts!

Cherub Choir

Cherub choir is an opportunity for our elementary(ish) aged children to have their beautiful voices heard in worship! Children can sing the opening hymn as well as lead hymns and service music.
