The Hallway Art Gallery
Welcome to the Hallway Art Gallery - a unique space where art and mission meet. Located in the main hallway of our church, this gallery showcases work from local artists throughout the year, in two-month exhibits. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a long-time member, we invite you to walk through, reflect, and experience the stories told through visual art.
Our Hallway Art Gallery isn’t just about aesthetics - it’s about impact. 30% of all artwork sales go directly to support our Outreach Partners in Ministry, helping fund programs that serve our local community. The other 70% of sales goes back to the artist. When you purchase art from the gallery, you’re also investing in real-life transformation beyond our walls.

May & June Featured Artist
Jennifer Thielke
Photography artist Jennifer Thielke is honored to present her work as the first presenting artist in the Hallway Art Gallery at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, a place, to Jennifer, that inspires reflection and community. Jennifers journey as an artist has been shaped by the experiences and perspectives she gained throughout her life. Serving 22 years active duty in the United States Air Force, a career that taught Jennifer resilience, discipline, and an appreciation for the world’s beauty—both in its vast landscapes and its intricate details.
Jennifer’s artistic journey began unexpectedly in 2007, when she bought a camera to keep busy during a three-month professional development course in California. That decision pushed Jennifer to explore the outdoor landscape, when something clicked—pun intended. Upon retiring in 2019, Jennifer and her family moved back to Colorado from Texas via Albuquerque, and once again picked up her camera. She discovered her head was in a whole new place, and photography became not just a creative outlet, but a way to reconnect with herself and the incredible world in which we live.
One of Jennifer’s greatest joys is being able to capture the fleeting moments found in nature and in urban settings and bring them to life. This offers a unique perspective to the viewer that gives a glimpse into moments and places not everyone may have the opportunity experience. Now, living in Monument, Colorado, alongside her wife and their rowdy, lovable dogs, Jennifer continues to expand her creative voice. When Jennifer is not behind the lens, she can be found riding miles on her Peloton, exploring gravel roads, or seeking solitude in nature. Her passion for movement and adventure inspires her work, and finds her best ideas come from hitching up her tiny trailer, “Daryl,” and heading west with her sidekick Andi in the passenger seat, happily relieved it’s not another trip to the vet.
Each piece Jennifer creates serves as a reminder of life’s journey—its twists, its turns, and its moments of joy. Jennifers desire is for you the viewer, to find a sense of connection, reflection, and wonder in these works.
