What to expect on Sunday Morning
Expect to be welcomed. Expect to feel the presence of God’s love. Expect for your soul to feel at home.
Worship in the Episcopal Church follows a beautiful and ancient form that dates back to the earliest period of the Christian faith. CLICK HERE to learn more. We know that this style of worship is not always easy for those unfamiliar with the Anglican tradition. Please do not feel obligated to do anything but enjoy the service reverently and expectantly. Once you are used to this form of worship you will find it a truly beautiful, holy, and transformative experience.
After worship ends you are invited to join us for coffee and other snacks in the church lobby. This a great opportunity to meet people and ask any questions you might have. Please stop by the round table in the middle of the room where printed material about our church is available. You may also want to check our bookstore, and electronic kiosk to sign up for an upcoming event.
On the first Sunday of every month, during the Sunday School hour, the newer members of St. Michael’s gather in St. Andrew’s Hall on the lower level for fellowship and education relevant to people who are new to the Episcopal Church. This is a great place to meet people and learn more about us.
Worship with Kids
Children are welcome at all our services! A cry room, complete with toys, overlooks the worship area and is available if needed. We also provide activities bags for children to take into the service; these contain small toys/art supplies to help make worship more interesting for the youngsters. You are always welcome to leave your children in the nursery, as well, if you prefer.
Changing Stations for Infants
Changing stations are located in the bathrooms on both the upper and lower levels. The nursery is also equipped with a changing station and diapers, wipes, and other supplies you may need.
Hearing assistance devices are located in the hallway at the back of the nave. Please see an usher for assistance.
