On November 6th, a group of our teens and adults drove up to St. Timothy's parish in Centennial. We met with Bishop Rob O'Neill and Presiding Bishop Katherine Jefferts Schori. It was an excellent time. One of our teen s read and one was selected to ask the Bishop a question during Q&A.

In Early October we held the Sparkle Fashion Show. It was a sold out event that featured great food, fashions and fun. A great job was done by the many volunteers who put this event on.

Every September we bless back packs of those returning to School. As a part of it we give out tokens to remind students of the parish that loves them all year long. This year - Mini Crocs with a label-- We are the hands and feet of Christ.

Fish Fry is a Lenten favorite. We provide fried and baked fish, fried and baked potatoes and even vegetarian chili. A great time was had by all.

Every Palm Sunday We hold a brunch between services for parishioners to enjoy each others company over good food. We also raise funds for our mission efforts. Both for Pine Ridge and youth mission trips.

On March 13 we had our first Lenten Soup Supper of 2011. The Rev. Sally Hubbell led us in an instructed Eucharist after the supper. It was most edifying.

Fr. Paul and Nancy threw a party for the parish on the occasion of their tenth anniversary at St. Michael's. It was a feast for the stomach and soul as we reveled in ten excellent years together.

Our Church night for December featured Harpists the Hoskins Sisters. They put on a wonderful program of music and story while we feasted on a delicious meal.

The youth who are preparing for Confirmation in Colorado Springs put together a special liturgy as a part of the preparation. After we had a lovely meal catered by St. Matthias parish and enjoyed a concert by Joe Uveges.

For Easter Vigil this year we had a fire outdoors in the snow and we threw streamers at the Gloria! On Easter morning we gathered the children for a bit of the telling of the Easter Story followed by an egg hunt.
