THIS WEEK – Sunday, February 5

Remember to read this week’s readings: Readings for Sunday, February 5

This Week’s trivia Question: What did Paul say he was to all people?

Every middle school student and high school student who emails Joe the correct answer gets a picture of a president.

February 5
Middle School  – Have I got a gift for you!
We take our health for granted until we don’t have it. What would you do if you were dying? How much hope would you have in a faith healer? Would you try anything to get better?  Check us out this week and see what your answers would be.

High School  – All things to all people
Does being all things to all people make you a fake and a liar? Does it make you a shrewd marketer? A zealot? What possible excuse can you have for being all things to all people?

February 11 – Snow Shoe Hike
Everyone is invited! Click on the picture or here for a flier. Sign up on the kiosk in the Gathering area, or by emailing Joe.
We will meet at St. Mikes parking lot and return there too. Pray for snow!

February 12

Middle School  – The danger of doing good deeds
When we do good deeds, sometimes it backfires on us. We actually get punished for doing the right thing. How did Jesus deal with that? How can we?

High School – Running the race
Running the race is not getting to the finish line. It is running. The finish will come soon enough. How is your form? Are you still running or are you walking? Or have you given up? Not to worry, the race goes on and you can pick up the pace as soon as you are ready.

Confirmation Preparation. Regular meeting time 1:00-3:00pm.
Preparation is a two year process that prepares youth to make a serious commitment to faith. Click the image or this link for more details.
