St. Michael’s is a place for our family to build upon our relationship with God, improve ourselves, and enjoy the fellowship of other Christian families. The church provides a consistent, open learning environment that assists our family in walking with Jesus through life. We have found the Children’s Sunday School and Youth Group very beneficial for our children. We also enjoy the adult educational programs. St. Michael’s also provides numerous opportunities to serve others through its many Christian outreach ministries. Perhaps most important, St. Michael’s holds traditional Episcopal worship services highlighted by messages that clearly relate biblical lessons to the world we live in today, demonstrating the timeless nature of our God and his relevance to our daily lives.

Sally & Allan Creely

After a two lifetimes of moving frequently for the military, we moved to Colorado Springs 10 years ago and went on a church search. Neighborhood friends belonged to St. Michael’s and they invited us to visit. We did, and we were hooked. The people we met were very friendly and they immediately made us feel welcome. For perhaps the first time in a long, long time we had found a home. Fellow parishioners became dear friends with which we share – football, food, wine, travel, and the Thrift Shop. In trying to become good Episcopalians, Allan is in charge of the Paver Ministry and I am Clerk of the Vestry. St Michaels put us to work right away, and we love it. Well, most of the time.

It is not easy to find a Church, when you enter the door, you feel God’s Love and a warm sincere welcome regardless to who you are. I found this at St. Michael’s. The warm caring feeling, Good Sermons, Sunday School, Adult Forum, Good Music, Outreach Programs and a chance to share your God-given time and talents, made me realize that this would be my Spiritual Home. St. Michael’s is a great place to call Home.

Linda & Steve Merrill

We joined St. Michael’s in late 2007 after relocating from NH to be close to our children and grandchildren who had moved to Colorado Springs over the previous eight years. We had been active members of our former church in NH for over 28 years so it was important for us to find a church where we felt welcome and that offered opportunities for spiritual growth in a warm and caring environment. We had attended a Christmas Eve service at St. Michael’s while visiting the area one year so it was natural for us to “try it out” to see if it would work as our new parish home. We couldn’t be happier. We have felt at home here from day one. We have found St. Michael’s to be a warm and welcoming faith community with committed and caring leadership. There are a variety of ongoing avenues for spiritual growth for all age groups and many excellent volunteer opportunities where members can put their faith into action. Our former church, St.Paul’s Church in Concord, NH strives to be “a place to belong, whoever you are, just as you are”. St. Michael’s lives up to that ideal.

Catherine & Shane Warren

We became members of St. Mike’s five years ago when we moved to Colorado Springs. St. Mike’s was a warm and welcoming congregation and we found our niche. The longer we stayed, the more involved we became in church activities. Catherine found a role as an acolyte and we both have found friendships in the Young Families Community and Church Night. What really drew us into the family that is St. Mike’s was when Shane was involved in an automobile accident and was laid up in the hospital for six weeks. The first people Catherine called were members of the church for support and comfort. Father Paul visited the hospital almost daily and different families provided meals, cards and prayers. I (Catherine) will never forget the love and support that was shown to us during that time. Now we have a beautiful daughter that the church calls “the miracle baby.”

We are proud to call St. Michael’s our church home for the last 6 years. Our entire family has benefitted from the many different ministries that St. Michael’s has to offer. Through our involvement, we feel deeply connected to fellow parishioners and staff. We love and are so grateful for our St. Michael’s family that has invested in us and richly blessed us.

Lonnie & Debbie Womack

St. Michael’s became our church home and place of worship because the parish community is one of great friendliness, caring, and openness. The first time we visited, we were embraced by its warmth. St. Michael’s Church is a community where people are valued and supported, even when their views are different. The parish leaders, in particular Fr. Paul, have made it possible for us all to come to the altar and share in the feast of our Lord Jesus, thus we are greatly blessed and fed and we want this parish to be our church home for a long time to come.
